Come feel the love with everyone’s favorite summ Come feel the love with everyone’s favorite summer tradition in Stowe - a night of music in the @vontrappresort Concert Meadow under the stars!

On Sunday, July 6th, Stowe Performing Arts welcomes the Vermont Symphony Orchestra on their 2025 Summer Festival Tour. This year’s dynamic program, Summer of Love, features works from across the world and a range of genres, including pieces from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet, John Williams’ Star Wars Theme, Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, and pop hits such as “I Put A Spell On You” and “Nature Boy.” This summer the VSO welcomes mezzo Nikola Printz as the tour’s special guest vocalist.

Ditch the desk lunch tomorrow - Wednesday, May 28t Ditch the desk lunch tomorrow - Wednesday, May 28th, at 12pm - and join us for the FINAL Noon Music in May concert of 2025!

@ocmvermont Young Artist Program will be presenting an enchanting afternoon of Italian opera featuring the works of Puccini and his contemporaries. Enjoy international vocal talents performing Respighi’s atmospheric songs, some of Puccini’s beloved standalone pieces and more from Gianni Schicchi and La Bohème, and Leoncavallo’s dramatic selections from Pagliacci and his own La Bohème. The program culminates with the poignant Act III Quartet from Puccini’s La Bohème, bringing together multiple voices in one of opera’s most moving ensemble pieces, all accompanied by renowned pianists Alejandro Roca and Deniz Uz.

Her carefully curated program weaves together Boulanger’s garden impressions, Janáček’s evocative autobiographical pieces, Chopin’s masterful, sparkling Ballade, and Villa-Lobos’s colorful doll portraits. Experience these musical gems brought to life with clarity and feeling in our resonant acoustic space.

This week, we welcome the incomparable Katherine W This week, we welcome the incomparable Katherine Winterstein and Sarah Bob to the Stowe Performing Arts Stage!

The performance opens with selections from Bach’s vibrant E major Partita for solo violin before transitioning to contemporary composer Charles Shadle’s evocative “Choctaw Animals” suite for solo piano. The musicians then unite for Jennifer Higdon’s dreamlike “Nocturne” and Ruth Crawford Seeger’s pioneering four-movement Sonata for violin and piano. The concert concludes with Messiaen’s transcendent “Louange à l’Immortalité de Jésus” from his profound “Quartet for the End of Time,” offering audiences a journey through Baroque brilliance, American innovation, and mystical contemplation.
