What if it rains? FAQ Everyone who has ever attended a Music in the Meadow concert would agree: it is truly a magical experience - a sumptuous picnic, good friends, stunning views, and great music. Unfortunately, Mother Nature does not always cooperate. So WHAT IF IT RAINS? In case of inclement weather, the Music in the Meadow concerts will be help in Stowe High School on Barrows Road. This change is due to the scheduled demolition of the Jackson Ice Arena. Members of the Stowe Rotary Club will assist you in finding a parking place and will then direct you to the concert hall. WHO MAKES THE DECISION TO MOVE THE CONCERT INDOORS AND WHEN? Stowe Performing Arts Directors, with the assistance of a professional meteorologist, make a weather call on the morning of the concert. The decision is driven by our concern for the safety and comfort of our artists and the audience. HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE THE CONCERT WILL BE HELD? There are many ways to get information about the concert location. If the conditions look iffy, wait until noon and Call the Meadow Hotline 802/253-5720. Call Stowe Area Association 802/253-7321. Check out our sign on Main Street. Listen to WCVT 101.7 FM, 102.5 FM (Montpelier), WDEV 96.1 FM, 96.5 FM (Barre), 550 AM and WLVB 93.9 FM Call Stowe Performing Arts - 802/253-7792.
